Most of the researches done by Sujit Choudhry address various issues involved in comparative constitutional politics and law such as the constitutional design, a tool used during the transformation management between violent conflicts and peaceful democratic politics. The design is divided into ethnic societies such as decentralisation, constitutional courts, bills of right, and federalism. Other divisions in the design include security sector oversight, semi-presidential and the fundamental methodological questions.
